About Stellaok
Stellaok is an English-language publication covering software, video games and financial markets. We write for readers who already follow these industries and want the facts, the background that explains them, and a clear read on what happens next.
What we cover
The desk runs three sections, and every story we publish belongs to one of them.

There are currently 118 pieces in the archive, and we add to it every day. Each article carries a publication date and a named section, and the archive stays online after publication.
How we work
Stories start from primary material: company announcements, regulatory and earnings filings, product documentation, developer streams and press briefings, plus reporting from established outlets when they break something first. We name the outlet in the body of the piece whenever we build on its work, and we link out so you can read the original.
What we add is the part that usually gets left out of a news hit. That means the timeline of how a story got here, the comparison against a competitor or a previous version, the numbers that make the scale concrete, and a straight answer on whether any of it should change what a reader does. Every draft is read and checked before it goes live.

Independence and funding
Stellaok is funded by display advertising. Advertising is sold and served separately from editorial, and advertisers have no say in what we cover or how we cover it. We do not publish sponsored posts disguised as articles, and we do not accept payment for coverage or for links. If a commercial relationship ever touches a story, it will be disclosed on that story.
Who runs the desk
Articles carry the Stellaok Desk byline rather than individual names, because most of what we publish is worked on by more than one person.
